Little's Record-Setting First Half Propels Buffalo to Dominating Win

BUFFALO, NY - DJ Little broke all sorts of records on Sunday night. He broke records for points, made field goals, and steals. He did this all in the first half.
Little scored 30 points, made 12 field goals, and recorded 7 steals, all first half program records as Bryant & Stratton Buffalo scored a program-record 119 points, defeating Central Penn 119-78 on Sunday to sweep the Bobcat Kickoff Classic.
In 15 minutes, Little went 12-of-16 from the floor and 3-of-6 from three, as he put on a show for nearly 200 in attendance. Buffalo had a commanding 68-33 lead at halftime and the starters didn't see the floor much more for the rest of the night. Head Coach Damone Brown was able to empty his bench and get everyone minutes thanks in part to Little's dominating start, and the Bobcats stellar defense.
Buffalo forced a program-record 44 turnovers, leading directly to 49 points. They attempted 56 more field goals than the Knights and had 13 of 15 player score. Senior DJ Brown had 17 off the bench and Kalon Kimble added 15. Brown was 5-of-6 from three while Kimble added four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Junior Davon Ware had seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Senior Sam Dorissaint scored 10 for Buffalo as well.
Buffalo out-rebounded Central Penn 48-39 and had 28 second-chance points to the Knights' nine. Buffalo also held an advantage in bench scoring (59-31) and assists (26-18) and held at one point a 47-point lead.
UP NEXT
The Bobcats will be off for over a week and are set to travel to South Euclid, OH for a November 16th matchup with Notre Dame (OH), a consistent NCAA II power. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
