"Last year we were able to experience some success which was great for our players and our program," Brown said. "But last year was a different year and this season is going to come with its own challenges. Success last year doesn't guarantee it this year and we have to work twice as hard to advance even further than we did last March."
They will open the season with five of six November games in Buffalo. After welcoming Fisher College to town on November 2nd in the team's season opener, they will then host Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse on November 6th. Matchups with Erie Community College, Point Park University, Jamestown Community College and Villa Maria College round out the month.
In the month of December, the Buffalo Bobcats host Wilberforce University for the first of two games against the Bulldogs. They will then hit the road for three straight road contests starting with two in New York City. After playing Five Towns College on December 7th, they'll take on winner of four of the last five United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division II National Championships, Berkeley College. The road trip concludes with the second meeting of the season against ECC.
After rounding out the calendar year with three home games, the team will head south to participate in the Beach Bash Classic, hosted by Florida National University in Hialeah, Florida. There, they will play three games in as many days against the University of the Virgin Islands (Jan. 2), FNU (Jan. 3), and the Apprentice School (Jan. 4). The team stays on the road after that, playing games against Bryant & Stratton-Albany, Wright State-Lake and Cincinnati Clermont before finally returning home to host Villa Maria on January 14th. They'll host Mercyhurst Northeast three days after before playing the month's final two games on road in return games against Fisher and Wilberforce.
BSC stays on the road for the regular season's two final road games to start February against Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse and Vaughn. They close the regular season with four home games, the finale coming on February 16th against Central Penn College.
"The schedule came together nicely throughout the offseason," Brown said. "I think it's challenging and presents a lot of opportunities to showcase our talents and test our ability against some of the top teams in the country. If we stay together and play our brand of basketball, I am confident we will have success."
