BUFFALO, NY - Student-athletes across the country will be recognized on April 6th as part of National Student-Athlete Day.
Created in 1987 by the National Consortium for Academics and Sports (NCAS) and renamed the Institute for Sport and Social Justice (ISSJ), National Student-Athlete Day honors high school and college student athletes who have achieved excellence in academics and athletics while also making significant contributions to their schools and communities. Over 4.4 million student-athletes have been awarded with certificates after achieving at least a 3.0 grade point average and making contributions to their school and/or community.
On April 6th, Bryant & Stratton Buffalo will honor all of it's student-athletes and recognize one male and one female who exemplify the characteristics set forth by the ISSJ.
