BUFFALO, NY - There will be more versatility and firepower coming to the Bobcats in 2020. Bryant & Stratton Buffalo men's basketball head coach Damone Brown announced the addition of 6-foot-6 forward Sam Dorissaint to the 2020 recruiting class.
"Sam is a great addition to our recruiting class and our program," Brown said. "He gives us some size but also a ton of versatility. He has the potential to be a matchup problem on the offensive end while also having the ability to guard multiple positions on the defensive end."
Dorissaint spent his freshman season at NHTI, Concord's Community College, where he started all 30 games for the Lynx and averaged 14.4 points while shooting over 50 percent from the floor. He also shot 43.4 percent from beyond the arc and 77 percent from the free throw line. He also averaged 6.5 rebounds and nearly two blocks per game. He helped lead NHTI to a 27-6 record and a Yankee Conference regular season and conference tournament championship.
Dorissaint is originally from Stamford, CT, the same hometown as another 2020' commit, Shyquinn Dix. Dorissaint joins Dix and three other members of the 2020 class, Lonnie Taylor, Eric Waters and Gerald Bibbs. Back-to-back Second Team All American Tyrell Mitchell is also set to return for his senior season.
