All-American Deric Jackson Bolsters Bobcats' 2020 Class
BUFFALO, NY - Bryant & Stratton Buffalo men's basketball head coach Damone Brown announced another addition to the 2020 recruiting class, officially welcoming Deric Jackson to the Bobcats. The 6-foot-3 combo guard from Salisbury, MD comes to BSC Buffalo after earning Honorable Mention All-American honors at NHTI, Concord's Community College.

The 6-foot-3 combo guard from Salisbury, MD comes to BSC Buffalo after earning Honorable Mention All-American honors at NHTI, Concord's Community College.
"Deric is someone that can really do it all for us," Brown said. "He can score on all three levels on the offensive end and is extremely versatile on the defensive end. I have no doubt he'll be a big piece to help us reach our goal of winning a championship."
Jackson averaged 15.7 points and 6.9 rebounds during his sophomore season, helping lead NHTI to a 27-6 record. He shot over 46 percent from the floor and also averaged two assists per game. He scored in double-figures in all but three games and had a season-high 27. He scored at least 20 points, nine times.
As a freshman, Jackson averaged 15.1 points and 7.1 rebounds. He had a career-high 31 during that season while scoring at least 20 points, seven times. In two seasons, Jackson totaled 48 steals.
Jackson joins another former NHTI teammate in the Bobcats' 2020 class in forward Sam Dorissaint who was announced as a commitment last week. Dorissaint and Jackson played together during Jackson's sophomore season. The two join four more in the BSC Buffalo 2020 class which features Lonnie Taylor, Gerald Bibbs, Eric Waters and Shyquinn Dix.
