BUFFALO, NY - The Bryant & Stratton College Buffalo Bobcats have added toughness, heart and leadership with the commitment of point guard Jonathon Moody as part of the 2020 men's basketball recruiting class. Head Coach Damone Brown announced Moody as the seventh member of the 2020 class and is excited to have the strong, physical and crafty guard join the program.
"Jonathon is exactly the type of player and person I am looking for to join this program," Brown said. "He is a soft-spoken, yet determined person and will do whatever it takes to be successful on and off the court. I see him as a guy who can step in right away and provide leadership and toughness on the court, and be the glue to our program from day one."
Moody last played at Finger Lakes Community College where he averaged 5.1 points and nearly four assists per game. He also secured more than two boards and came up with over a steal per contest. He was the team's assist leader and shot over 65 percent from the floor.
At 6-0, Moody has a great handle and combines that with excellent vision. His strength as a guard makes him a tough matchup to prepare for. He is also versatile on the defensive end, possessing the ability to guard multiple positions and skill sets.
Moody joins a loaded 2020 recruiting class which features Lonnie Taylor, Gerald Bibbs, Eric Waters, Shyquinn Dix, Sam Dorissaint and Deric Jackson.
