BUFFALO, NY - After a record-shattering inaugural season, the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo women's basketball program is taking strides to get even better. Head Coach Brittnee Perry announced Jasmine Michaux, a 5-foot-10 forward from Greenburgh, NY as the first committment in the 2020 recruiting class.
Michaux comes to BSC Buffalo after spending her first two seasons at Mohawk Valley Community College. As a sophomore, she was the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 21.8 points per game on 54.5 percent shooting. She led the team in rebounding (8.6), total assists (101), total steals (108) and total blocks (24).
"Jasmine is someone who will come in and work hard right away and will be a big piece to our team," Perry said. "She can do so many things for us on the court and also is someone who exemplifies the things we look for off the court as well. She will represent our program well."
As a freshman, Michaux averaged 13.9 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting better than 55 percent from the floor.
