BUFFALO, NY - The Bryant & Stratton Buffalo women's basketball program has added a former All-American to it's 2020 recruiting class. Head Coach Brittnee Perry announced that Armoni Jordan will be joining the Bobcats in 2020 with two years of eligibility remaining.
"Armoni is someone that I'm very excited to have the ability to coach," Perry said. "She brings something different that not many players bring. She plays with an edge and provides us with energy and a level of toughness that will help us reach a new level."
Jordan played her first two seasons at Villa Maria College where she was selected as a second-team United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American in 2019. She averaged 14.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. She shot 46 percent from the floor as well, helping lead the Vikings to a 25-3 record and a spot in the national championship game. She scored in double-figures in all but five games and has at least three steals in 12 games. As a freshman, Jordan averaged 19 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. She shot nearly 50 percent from the floor and was instrumental in leading the Vikings to their first ever trip to the national tournament.
Jordan is an energetic player, providing constant high-level energy while shes on the floor. She is tough, physical and strong, all qualities that bode well for her. She is almost always a mismatch on both ends of the floor.
Jordan is from Lockport, NY and played her high school basketball at South Park High School.
