Bobcats Add St. Joseph's Transfer Bruneel
BUFFALO, NY - It's about to get a whole lot warmer in Western New York as the newest member of the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo women's basketball program will be bringing that Florida sun to Buffalo this fall. Bobcats Head Coach Brittnee Perry announced that transfer forward Rachel Bruneel will join the 2020 recruiting class after spending her first two seasons at the College of St. Joseph (VT).

Bobcats Head Coach Brittnee Perry announced that transfer forward Rachel Bruneel will join the 2020 recruiting class after spending her first two seasons at the College of St. Joseph (VT).
"Rachel is a great person and is someone I'm very excited to have join our program," Perry said. "She is a dynamic player that can do a number of things on the court for us and I expect her to provide a level of energy on the court that we need."
During her sophomore season with thr Fighting Saints, the Parkland, FL native started 13 of 22 games and averaged 8.2 points and 4.3 rebounds. She helped lead CSJ to a 13-11 record, it's best record in four years. Bruneel also averaged more than a steal and nearly one assist per game. As a freshman, she appeared in 14 games and averaged nearly five points, three rebounds and a steal.
Bruneel joins an already loaded recruiting class which features Buffalo natives Armoni Jordan and Nia Caver, as well as Louisiana's own Mary Caldwell and Jasmine Michaux of Greenburg, NY.
