Mitchell Scores 25 in 92-61 Win Over BSC Ohio
BUFFALO, NY - Tyrell Mitchell scored a game-high 25 points and Jonathan Range finished with 24 points and 14 rebounds as the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats picked up a 92-61 win over BSC Ohio on Friday evening inside the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center.

THE FAST BREAK
- Buffalo controlled the game from the opening tip. After Ohio scored the game's first two points, Buffalo responded with 14 of the next 16 to jump out to a 14-4 lead.
- With 11:23 left they extended that lead to 23-6 after a Jonathan Range three.
- Devin Redden opened up a 20-point advantage (31-11) with 9:36 left after Jason Mixon came up with a steal leading to the bucket.
- After Ohio closed to within 15, out of a timeout Buffalo scored three straight baskets. The run started with a two-hand jam in the paint by Range which was followed by a fastbreak layup from Tyrell Mitchell. Range capped the run with a layup with 3:06 left in the half.
- Range scored again with 29 seconds left to give the Bobcats a 25-point lead before Ohio ended the half with two free throws.
- The second half was never in question as the closest Ohio got was 14.
- Buffalo opened up a 29-point lead with 2:15 left after two free throws from Range before eventually winning by 31.
BOBCAT BUCKETS
- Mitchell scored a season-high 25 points to lead the Bobcats and went a perfect 7-of-7 at the free throw line.
- Range chipped in 24 and secured a game-high 14 rebounds.
- Mick Snowden scored nine and hit three triples and Jeriah Williams was the team's leading scorer off the bench, going a perfect 3-of-3 from the field and scoring eight points.
- Jabari Hibbert led the team with six assists and six steals.
- In 14 minutes Devin Redden had a solid overall game, scoring six points and adding five rebounds, three assists and three steals.
- Jordan Street came off the bench to chip in five points, five rebounds, a block and a steal.
- Both Taijay Williams and Davon Ware each hit two threes and scored six points off the bench.
WHAT THEY SAID
"Tyrell (Mitchell) and (Jonathan) Range were great tonight for us," BSC Buffalo Head Coach Damone Brown said. "They led the way with energy and determination. We need to get that from everyone moving forward. We have a tough test against Point Park on Sunday and it's our last chance to get right before we start a brutal road stretch in the month of January."
UP NEXT
BSC Buffalo will remain at home for the final game of the calendar year when they host Point Park University on Sunday at 12 p.m. The Pioneers defeated the Bobcats 102-86 in Pittsburgh back on November 16th.
