Bobcats Compete in First Ever USCAA National Championship
CHESAPEAKE, VA - The Bryant & Stratton Buffalo men's cross country team competed in its first ever USCAA National Championship on Friday, as Swinton Lee was the Bobcats' top finisher. The 8k race, held at Bells Mill Park in Chesapeake, VA, featured seven full teams and a number of individual runners. The Bobcats did not post a team score but did have three runners finish. SUNY ESF won the team portion of the event with two of its runners, Matthew Tripp, and Sean Dristle taking the top two spots.

Lee finished the race with a time of 35:24.4 good for a 7:07.4 mile average. He finished in 53rd place overall. Tamir Thompson finished in 79th place overall and secured a time of 42:29.9 which equated to a 8:33.1 mile time. Da'Mir Camper rounded out the squad with a time of 49:17.0, good for a 9:55.0 mile pace. He finished 83rd.
B&SC Buffalo finished the season having competed in six total races which was highlighted by a victory to open the season at the Daniel Walker Invitational hosted by Buffalo State College at Beaver Island State Park.
