Freshman Speaks Paces Bobcats at Meghan Memorial Invitational
HAMBURG, NY - The 2024 cross country season got underway on Saturday as the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats competed in the 16th Annual Meghan Memorial hosted by Hilbert College. Freshman Ro'Mel Speaks paced the Bobcats, finishing in ninth place with a 5k time of 19:34.1. The team finished in third place.

Freshman Ro'Mel Speaks paced the Bobcats, finishing in ninth place with a 5k time of 19:34.1. The team finished in third place.
Finishing in 15th place overall was veteran Tamir Thompson, who finished with a time of 21:37.4. Justin Reed-Fouche was closely behind, finishing 18th with a time of 22:30.6.
Buffalo State took home the team title, with their runner Noah Holden capturing the individual crown.
UP NEXT
The Bobcats will take a week off and then be back on the course on Saturday, September 14th when they take part in the Daemen Alumni Invitational.
