BUFFALO, NY - The commitments keep on rolling in. The Bryant & Stratton Buffalo women's basketball program announced another addition to it's 2020 recruiting class, officially welcoming Shreveport LA native Mary Caldwell. The sophomore transfer guard comes to BSC Buffalo from Paul Quinn College in Dallas, TX, and will have three years of remaining.
"Mary is a happy-go-lucky person and always has a smile on her face," BSC Buffalo Head Coach Brittnee Perry said. "She is someone that brings so many intangibles to our team. She is energetic, poised, and extremely aware on and off the floor. She'll be a great addition to our backcourt and someone who can be an x-factor for us."
As a freshman at Paul Quinn, Caldwell was a member of the Panthers program that advanced to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Tournament. She appeared in 15 games and averaged 4.4 points. She scored in double-figures twice and had a season-high 19.
Caldwell attended Woodlawn Leadership Academy in Shreveport, LA and averaged 22 points per game during her senior season. She was ranked as the 76th top high school girls basketball prospect in Louisiana.
Caldwell joins an already loaded 2020 women's basketball recruiting class which features Jasmine Michaux, Armoni Jordan and Nia Caver.
