Bobcats Take Down Shock 82-72 for Third Straight Win
BUFFALO, NY – All five starters scored in double-figures as Bryant & Stratton Buffalo used a big fourth quarter to pull away from, and down the Washington Adventist Shock 82-72 in game one of the Bobcat Bash on Saturday night.
BUFFALO, NY – All five starters scored in double-figures as Bryant & Stratton Buffalo used a big fourth quarter to pull away from, and down the Washington Adventist Shock 82-72 in game one of the Bobcat Bash on Saturday night.
Buffalo outscored the Shock by nine over the final 10 minutes to gain separation and improve to 3-0 on the season. Sophomore Kat Kanhoye led the way with 19 points and junior Oumy Gueye added 18 points and nine rebounds. Junior Charm Stone had her second double-double of the season with 13 points and 16 rebounds as well.
Buffalo overcame poor three-point shooting (19%) to come out on top. They were able to force 17 turnovers and outrebounded the Shock 51-43.
Senior Alissa Johnson scored 15 and junior Nia Caver added 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
UP NEXT: Buffalo will look to make it four straight wins to open its season when they host Vermont Tech to close out the Bobcat Bash on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
