PITTSBURGH, PA – Four players in double-figures wasn't enough as Bryant & Stratton Buffalo dropped an 87-72 to Point Park on Thursday night in Pittsburgh.
The Bobcats started strong, scoring 27 points in the first quarter to lead by eight. After tying the second quarter at 20 and taking that eight-point lead into halftime, the Pioneers took over. Point Park outscored Buffalo by 13 in the third quarter and 10 in the fourth to run away late.
Leading the way for Buffalo was junior Nia Caver who had 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting while also adding eight rebounds. Sophomore Kat Kanhoye added 19 and went 5-of-12 from deep. Junior Tamia Tart scored 13 off the bench and junior Oumy Gueye finished with a double double (10 points and 10 rebounds).
