The Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats host their second tournament in as many weeks, as they welcome three opposing teams to town for the 3rd Annual Bobcat Bash. The Tournament takes place on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11 & 12 at the Buffalo State Sports Arena.
OPENING TIP
The Bobcats picked up their first win of the season on Sunday in the final game of the Bobcat Kickoff Classic over Penn State Beaver, 72-61. They opened the season with elite NAIA competition against Cumberland (KY) and WVU Tech. They split a pair of games at the Kickoff Classic, falling to Penn State Shenango before beating Beaver.
ABOUT MAINE FORT KENT
The Bengals opened the 2023-24 campaign with a dominant 78-53 win over Maine Farmington on Wednesday after coming off a dissapointing 1-13 season in 2022-23. Leading the way was Skye Dugan with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Bobcats last played the Bengals on February 7, 2022, a game that the Bobcats won 65-49 in Buffalo.
ABOUT CHEYNEY
Sunday will mark the third official meeting between the Wolves and Bobcats, with Buffalo holding a 2-0 record. Cheyney has yet to play a game this season but is coming off a 2-11 season.

- Junior Ashlynn Johnson has scored in double-figures in all four games this season, en route to a team leading 14 points per game. She's also averaging 6.3 rebounds per game.
- Senior Saige Roberts is averaging 12.5 points per game to go along with 3.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists. She too has scored in double-figures in all four games.
- Senior Janae Brannon found her groove in the win over Penn State Beaver, dishing out a game-high 10 assists. She is averaging 5.7 assists and 6.3 rebounds, despite not playing in one game due to injury.
- Senior Chy Isom had a monster final game of the Kickoff Classic, scoring 19 points and securing 18 rebounds. She had nine of those rebounds on the offensive glass. She has scored in double-figures in three of four games and has increased that number in each game thus far (4, 11, 12, 19).
- Freshman Jaelyn Giles found herself on the floor in crucial moments over the weekend, averaging 25 minutes during the Kickoff Classic. She scored seven points in the win over Beaver in her first career start. She also had four assists, two rebounds, and two steals against Shenango.
- Head Coach Brittnee Perry is now up to 73 career wins in her four-plus seasons with the Bobcats, after leading them to a National Tournament berth in every year the tournament has been played, reaching the semifinals each time.
- This marks the final two home games for the Bobcats for a nearly a month. They will play the next three games on the road before returning home on Friday, December 8 against Berkeley.
- Buffalo is 35-9 at home under Perry.
